1. Who you are dealing with
hey-ash.com is operated by Ashikur Rahman, a solo website design and SEO practice. Agreeing a scope with me, or ordering through my verified Fiverr or Upwork profile, forms an engagement under these terms plus the written scope.
2. Quotes and scope
Package prices shown on this site are starting points. Your actual price is the fixed number in your written scope, confirmed before any payment. The scope lists exactly what is included: pages, posts, revision rounds, and the managed-SEO month. Anything outside it is a new quote, never a surprise invoice.
3. No ranking guarantees
I guarantee the work: the build, the content, the schema, the indexing, and the first month of active management as scoped. I do not guarantee any specific ranking, traffic level, AI citation count, or timeline, and these terms override any wording anywhere that could be read as such a promise. Search results depend on competition, market, and the engines themselves. Be wary of anyone in this industry who promises a position.
4. Payments and refunds
- Direct engagements: typically a 50% deposit to start and 50% at handover, stated in the scope.
- Marketplace orders: Fiverr and Upwork payment and dispute terms apply on top of these.
- If I have not started work, your deposit is refundable in full. Once work begins, refunds are pro-rated against work completed.
- Completed, delivered work is non-refundable, but if something in scope is wrong, I fix it.
5. Revisions
Your package includes the revision rounds listed in the scope. A revision adjusts delivered work; a change of direction (new niche, new structure, new scope) is quoted separately. I will always tell you which side of that line a request falls on before doing it.
6. Your responsibilities
Timely access to your hosting, WordPress admin, and Google Business Profile where needed; accurate information about your business and credentials; and review of content before publication. In YMYL niches your sign-off on factual and professional claims is required, because you know your field and your compliance duties best.
7. Content and honesty standard
I do not fabricate reviews, credentials, case studies, statistics, or reviewer credits, for you or about you. Factual claims in delivered content cite real sources. If you ask me to publish something that fails that test, I will decline that item.
8. Intellectual property
On full payment, you own your website, its content, and its design. I keep the right to reuse generic techniques, code patterns, and anonymized results data. Portfolio use of your project is by permission, with identifying details withheld on request.
9. Third-party services
Your site runs on services you contract directly: hosting, domain, plugins, marketplaces. Their availability, pricing, and terms are theirs, not mine. I recommend honestly and configure properly, but I am not liable for third-party outages or changes.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, my total liability under an engagement is capped at the amount you paid for it. I am not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost rankings. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Not professional advice
Content on this site, and content delivered for yours, is information about marketing and web design. It is not legal, medical, or financial advice. Your professional obligations in your own field remain yours.
12. Ending an engagement
Either of us can end an engagement in writing. You pay for work completed to that point; I hand over everything completed and paid for. Marketplace orders follow the platform’s cancellation process.
13. Changes and contact
These terms may change; the date above moves when they do. The terms in force when your scope was agreed govern that engagement. Questions: contact@hey-ash.com.
