Vibe code website design
Vibe code website design that is findable on launch day.
I design and build with Lovable and Claude Code, the same tools you would use, with one difference: the search plan is decided before the first prompt, and every page is server rendered, canonicalized, and carrying its schema in the raw HTML before it goes live. You own the repository. Google can read every page.
The method
Search first, screens later.
Six steps, in this order, on every build. The order is what separates a site that ranks from a site that only looks like it should.
- 01
Search first, screens later
Before a single screen exists, I map the queries your customers use, the intent behind them, and the pages that have to exist to win them. The sitemap is an SEO decision. It is made before the first prompt.
- 02
Prompt the structure, not the vibe
The AI is briefed with the page architecture, the headings, the schema, and the internal links already decided. That is why the output ranks instead of only looking modern.
- 03
Build in days, not months
Lovable and Claude Code turn a decided structure into a working, responsive site the same week. You review something real early, while it is still cheap to change.
- 04
Harden what the AI leaves open
Generated sites ship with the gaps I fix for a living: no server rendering, one canonical for every page, no real 404s, render-only schema. I close every one by hand. This is the step most vibe coded sites skip.
- 05
Tune for a real phone
Fonts, images, and scripts trimmed until Core Web Vitals pass on a mid-range phone on mobile data, verified at 390 pixels, not on a fast laptop.
- 06
Ship, index, then compound
Live on your domain, in your repository, submitted to Search Console, and then grown with the content and off-site work that makes it rank. The build is the start of the SEO, not the end of the project.
In every build
The eight things a vibe coded site normally ships without.
None of these are visible in the design. All of them decide whether the design is ever seen. Each one is checked in the raw server response before launch, not in a browser.
Server rendered
Title, text, and schema arrive in the first response.
One canonical per page
Matching the sitemap string exactly.
Sitemap with lastmod
Only real pages, with honest dates.
Real 404s
Unknown URLs fail at the server, not in JavaScript.
AI crawlers allowed
robots.txt allowlist and an llms.txt at the root.
Core Web Vitals budget
Self-hosted fonts, sized images, no layout shift.
Your repository
The code lives on your GitHub. No lock-in to me or a tool.
Your domain, edge hosted
Cloudflare delivery on a domain you control.
Proof, not promises
What a site built for search does in its first months.
The first is a new site designed, built, and written with an AI-native workflow, then pointed at search. The second is a first month. The third is where the curve goes when the structure was right from the start.

481
clicks from launch · 3 months
A new tech site to 481 clicks and a climbing curve in 90 days

312
clicks in 28 days · First month
312 clicks in the first 28 days of SEO

10.8K
organic clicks · 3 months
10.8K clicks from 1.86M impressions for a Queens dermatology clinic
All numbers are taken directly from Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, GA4, Bing Webmaster Tools, and the Microsoft AI Performance dashboard for active clients and owned projects. Names withheld at client request.
Honest boundaries
What vibe coding does not fix.
AI writes code quickly. It does not decide strategy. The keyword and page plan is still human work, and it is mine.
Speed of build does not shorten how long ranking takes. Authority still compounds over months.
If your project genuinely fits WordPress better, I will say so instead of forcing the method.
I do not invent results. Every number on this page is a screenshot from a live dashboard.

Questions
What people ask before a build.
What is vibe code website design?
Designing and building a website by directing AI tools, in my case Lovable and Claude Code, rather than hand-writing every file. Done carelessly it produces pretty sites nobody can find. Done by an SEO, it produces fast sites that were structured to rank before a line of code existed. The difference is entirely in what gets decided before the first prompt.
Do vibe coded websites rank on Google?
Only if someone makes them rankable. Out of the box they are usually single-page apps with no server rendering, one canonical for every page, and no schema, so search engines cannot read them. I add all of that deliberately, and I check it in the raw response before launch. This site is built the same way, and every page of it is in the raw HTML.
Are you a designer or an SEO?
An SEO first, since 2017, who designs and builds the sites myself. That is the point. When a ranking depends on a technical change, I make it the same day instead of waiting on a developer queue, and when a design decision would hurt search, I know before it ships.
Do I own the site and the code?
Yes. The code lives in a GitHub repository that belongs to you, on your own domain, with no lock-in to me or to any single tool. If you want to keep editing it in Lovable afterwards, you can.
I already have a Lovable site. Should I rebuild or fix it?
Fix it, almost always. If the design is good and the pages you need exist, the indexing problems can be corrected in place. A rebuild only makes sense when the page structure itself is wrong for search, which I can tell you from the free x-ray before you decide anything.
How long does a build take?
The search planning takes the first week, because it decides everything after it. The build itself is days. The hardening, speed, and launch work takes another week or two depending on the page count. You see a working site early, not at the end.
